2 cups of skin on hazlenuts,
3 tbs cacao powder,
2 tbs of keto-friently sweetner of choice.
Roast the hazlenuts on a baking sheet in a 175 degree oven for 15 minutes. Shake the tray a little after 8 minutes ensuring even roasting. Take the tray out of the oven and allow to cool. Once cooled, place the hazlenuts into a teatowel, hold the edges of tea towel together and rub the hazlenuts gently together, this will take the skin off the nuts. Open up the tea towel and put the nuts into the blender, leaving the skins in the tea towel. Blend until butter forms, this may take up to 10 minutes depending on the strength of your blender. Add the cacao powder and the sweetner, blend until smooth.
